These files discuss the building of projects all around the state of Mississippi. Some of the projects disccused in this series are the Tombigbee Waterway and the Yazoo backwater project.
G. V. "Sonny" Montgomery papers, G. I. Bill
This Series contains correspondence, reports, memoranda, research files, photographs, and other documents related to the passing of the Montgomery G. I. Bill and subsequent iterations of the G. I. Bill. Montgomery staffers maintained these files throughout the process of drafting and passing the Bill as well as subsequant changes to the legislation. It also contains materials on the distribution of G. I. Bill benefits to Veterans of the Gulf War in 1991, including Reservists.
